Here's what happened during the first Biden impeachment inquiry : NPR

At the close of the hearing, House Oversight Chair James Comer announced that he was issuing subpoenas for the bank records of the president’s son, Hunter Biden, and brother, James Biden. The subpoenas will be for their personal and business bank records, a source familiar with the subpoenas confirmed. Democrats responded by accusing Republicans of doing Donald Trump’s bidding and raising his and his family’s various foreign dealings themselves, as well as Trump’s attempts to get Ukraine to investigate in 2019 the same allegations now being raised in the impeachment inquiry. Comer said ahead of the hearing that the House Oversight, Judiciary and Ways and Means committees "uncovered an overwhelming amount of evidence showing President Joe Biden abused his public office for his family's financial gain."

The first impeachment inquiry hearing into Biden was six hours. Here's what happened

At least 92 percent of the proceeds from the tax would fund affordable housing under the Affordable Housing Program and tenant assistance programs under the Homeless Prevention Program. No more than 8 percent would fund program administration, reporting, compliance, and implementation. This measure’s goals include increasing the supply of affordable housing, addressing the need for tenant protections and assistance programs, and building organizational capacity of organizations serving low-income and disadvantaged communities, among others.

The allegations stemming from two IRS whistleblowers, Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, continued to come up. The two came forward publicly and said that the Justice Department mishandled an investigation into the president's son. House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith of Missouri said information obtained by his panel "makes clear Hunter Biden's business was selling the Biden 'brand' and that access to the White House was his family's most valuable asset — despite official claims otherwise."

The Democrats charged that Kushner's actions were far worse than Hunter Biden's, because Kushner worked in government, while Biden's son did not. Republicans have seized on this and claimed that the two agents show that pressure was placed on the DOJ to delay the investigation. But there's been no clear smoking gun provided by Republicans related to any of their assertions about the Biden family.

The Affordable Housing Program would fund the development of affordable housing to serve acutely low, very low, and low-income households. Housing units would be affordable for 55 years or permanently, if permitted by law, and be subject to resale restrictions. There are currently over 200 legislative bodies established in the County of Los Angeles that the Board of Supervisors make appointments to various commissions, committees, and boards. Of these legislative bodies, the Executive Office of the Board of Supervisors (EO) has direct oversight of a total of 34 commissions, committees and boards. Other legislative bodies generally fall under the purview of various County departments or outside agencies. Below are the 34 commissions and oversight boards that are under the purview of the Executive Office of the Board of Supervisors.

During Thursday's hearing, she held up a poster board with a quote saying that an impeachment inquiry without a vote authorizing it would "create a process completely devoid of any merit or legitimacy." Thursday’s hearing in the House Oversight Committee didn’t include witnesses who could speak directly to Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealing at the center of the inquiry, but the hearing offered Republicans the chance to show some of the evidence they’ve uncovered to date. Raskin and other Democrats on the committee similarly criticized the Republican members for pursuing the inquiry without first getting a full floor vote from the House. This is something Republicans criticized Democrats for not doing in their first impeachment inquiry into then-President Donald Trump. The Committee has legislative jurisdiction over the District of Columbia, the government procurement process, federal personnel systems, the Postal Service and other matters. Comer had been signaling his intention to issue the subpoenas for the personal bank records. The move shows where Republicans will head next in their investigation as they continue to seek evidence to substantiate their unproven allegations about the president. At the close of the impeaching inquiry hearing Thursday, House Oversight Chair James Comer announced that he was issuing subpoenas for the bank records of the president’s son, Hunter Biden, and brother, James Biden.

None of that evidence has shown Joe Biden received any financial benefit from his son’s business dealings, but Republicans said at Thursday’s hearing what they’ve found so far has given them the justification to launch their impeachment inquiry. House Republicans kicked off their first impeachment inquiry hearing Thursday laying out the allegations they will pursue against President Joe Biden, though their expert witnesses acknowledged Republicans don’t yet have the evidence to prove the accusation they’re leveling. Comer said "investigators have been shut down" whenever Republicans have attempted to explore any links to the president. He said the panel would be subpoenaing bank records for Hunter Biden and the president's brother James, as well as any affiliated companies. In the first impeachment inquiry for President Biden, Republicans zeroed in on his son, Hunter, and attempted to make the case that the president benefitted from his son's business dealings.

He then took on the role of Jake Phillips in Jake in Progress from 2005 to 2006. In 2005, Saget took on the role of the narrator on How I Met Your Mother for all nine seasons, concluding in 2014. Two years later, the actor reprised the part of Danny Tanner on Fuller House, which delighted original and new fans alike. The “raddest, baddest dad,” Danny Tanner, simply was that. Although his character is considered “uncool,” audiences know that Danny was the best.

Daniel Breaks Down the "Good and Bad" of Relationship with Ariana

She met Danny at Michelle's circus party in the season 3 episode "The Greatest Birthday on Earth", where he instantly fell for her, inviting her to stay for the party and also giving her a heart-shaped balloon. In "Lust in the Dust" Karen became Stephanie's dance teacher later in season three, and Danny started going out with her after the two kissed. They got along well until Danny found out she had trouble maintaining a clean apartment.

Throughout the series, Stephanie goes through various phases of growing up and explores her talents and interests, including dancing and singing. John Stamos portrays the character of Jesse Katsopolis, a musician who is also known by the nickname 'Uncle Jesse.' Jesse is the brother-in-law of Danny Tanner and becomes a pivotal figure in the lives of the Tanner family. He is known for his cool, rebellious nature and his love for music. John Phillip Stamos was born in Cypress, California, to Loretta (Phillips), a model, and William Stamos, a restaurateur. His father was of Greek descent, with the family surname originally being "Stamotopoulos".

He is known for having a healthy appetite, and often eats at the Tanners' when he visits. Kimmy's only serious relationship is with Duane (who is introduced in season eight episode "Taking the Plunge"), a very air-headed boy who was only known to say "whatever". Ironically, he was shown to have a fondness for Shakespearean works as he passionately quoted a line from Shakespeare's 18th sonnet. In "Taking the Plunge," Kimmy decides to run off to Reno and elope with Duane after she was rejected by the colleges that she had applied to, and is afraid that D.J. When D.J., Jesse, and Danny arrive at the chapel to stop her from getting married too young, D.J. Tells her that she will always be her best friend no matter what.

Danny even remarks (in season seven) that they are watching Aaron for several days "until his regular babysitter stops twitching". However, there is bad news for the reunited couple when the Lakers want Steve to be their foot specialist. He declines the job to stay with D.J., but she calls the team to say he will take the job. Steve tells her they will be back together in six months. In season four, after a few months on the job with the Lakers, Steve quits and moves back home so he can be with D.J. In season five, Steve, Jimmy, and Fernando all go in together to buy a local sandwich shop when the owner, Uncle Monty, retires.

After Full House ended, both sisters continued to act, co-starring in Two of a Kind from 1998 to 1999. They followed it up with several direct-to-video movies including Passport to Paris and Winning London. In 2004, the twins acted in their final film together, New York Minute. Since then, Olsen has left the acting up to sister Mary-Kate, choosing to focus solely on her career as a clothing designer.

Once time ends for a particular level, the player advances to the next level. During 2004 to 2005, Loughlin co-created, produced, and starred on the drama series Summerland on the WB with Jesse McCartney, Zac Efron, and Ryan Kwanten. She went on to play Debbie Wilson on seasons 1 through 3 of the Beverly Hills, spin-off between 2008 and 2011.

Then, in February 2016, Netflix premiered a sequel to the series called Fuller House. The new series mirrors the story line of the original, with D.J. Her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move in to help raise her three sons. (Michelle is nowhere to be seen, however, as neither Olsen twin reprised the role.) Carly Rae Jepsen and Butch Walker recreated the beloved Full House theme song, "Everywhere You Look" for the new series' opening credits. Although the series was set in San Francisco, the sitcom itself was taped at the Warner Bros. Outside of certain excerpts in the opening title sequences, including Alamo Square Park's Painted Ladies, the only episode to have actually been taped in San Francisco was the first episode of season eight, "Comet's Excellent Adventure".

Introduction to Systems Engineering

systems design engineering

It involves a methodical process of conceptualization, refinement, and construction. This process serves as the blueprint for transforming abstract ideas into tangible and functional software systems. Holding esteemed positions as a Design for 6 Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt, David consistently champions excellence in product design and function. He has been a driving force in setting and maintaining high industry standards. David’s impact extends to sustainability, where he led a pilot team, quantifying bottom-line savings potential and emphasizing a commitment to environmentally conscious design practices. His reputation is further solidified as the author of foundational New Product Introduction (NPI) corporate standards, significantly shaping industry best practices.

Best Practices for Effective System Design

Proposal engineering is the application of scientific and mathematical principles to design, construct, and operate a cost-effective proposal development system. Basically, proposal engineering uses the "systems engineering process" to create a cost-effective proposal and increase the odds of a successful proposal. Program management (or program management) has many similarities with systems engineering, but has broader-based origins than the engineering ones of systems engineering. Project management is also closely related to both program management and systems engineering. Both include scheduling as engineering support tool in assessing interdisciplinary concerns under management process.

The "System Safety Engineering" function helps to identify "safety hazards" in emerging designs and may assist with techniques to "mitigate" the effects of (potentially) hazardous conditions that cannot be designed out of systems. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at UB has a 50-year history of quality education and research in the area of human factors. Our program is one of the few graduate programs offered within an engineering school to be accredited by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.

Consistent hashing maps data to physical nodes and ensures that only a small set of keys move when servers are added or removed. Consistent hashing stores the data managed by a distributed system in a ring. This concept is important within distributed systems and works closely with data partitioning and data replication. The traditional scope of engineering embraces the conception, design, development, production, and operation of physical systems. "Systems engineering", in this sense of the term, refers to the building of engineering concepts.

Control systems theory is an active field of applied mathematics involving the investigation of solution spaces and the development of new methods for the analysis of the control process. In nonmilitary fields systems engineering has developed along similar though more modest lines. Early applications were likely to stress feedback control systems in large-scale automated production facilities, such as steel-rolling mills and petroleum refineries. Later applications stressed computer-based management information and control systems somewhat like those that had earlier been developed for air defense.

Thus, at each stage the systems engineer is likely to ask both why and how, rather than merely how. The word “systems” is frequently used also in other combinations, especially when elements of technological advance are not so important. Systems theory, or sometimes systems science, is frequently applied to the analysis of physical dynamic systems.

A decision matrix, or Pugh method, is one way (QFD is another) to make this choice while considering all criteria that are important. The trade study in turn informs the design, which again affects graphic representations of the system (without changing the requirements). In an SE process, this stage represents the iterative step that is carried out until a feasible solution is found. A decision matrix is often populated using techniques such as statistical analysis, reliability analysis, system dynamics (feedback control), and optimization methods.

As an approach, systems engineering is holistic and interdisciplinary in flavor. The systems engineering process is a discovery process that is quite unlike a manufacturing process. A manufacturing process is focused on repetitive activities that achieve high-quality outputs with minimum cost and time. The systems engineering process must begin by discovering the real problems that need to be resolved and identifying the most probable or highest-impact failures that can occur. The opportunity to explore a particular area of interest is provided by additional elective courses in the senior year.

Network nodes communicate with each other to determine which of them will be the leader. Leader election improves efficiency, simplifies architectures, and reduces operations. Block storage is a data storage technique where data is broken down into blocks of equal sizes, and each individual block is given a unique identifier for easy accessibility. As opposed to adhering to a fixed path, blocks can be stored anywhere in the system, making more efficient use of the resources.

Included among them are eyeglasses, several pieces of furniture and a handsome, brass-headed walking stick. It became a boarding house, saloon, bank, vegetable stand and cigar rolling operation over its long life. In 1901, a fire in the basement threatened the house, and it was in danger of being torn down in 1907 when it was rescued. The land around the North End was filled and it was no longer near the water. As waves of Irish, Jewish and Italian residents moved into the North End, the house adapted. Sons of Liberty John Hancock and Samuel Adams were staying in Lexington.

After this, the ethnic make-up of the North End shifted to Eastern European Jewish and Italian immigrants. The house functioned as a tenement building and housed various shops on the first floor in the last part of the 1800s and early 1900s. In 1902, the house was acquired by a Revere descendant and, in 1907, the Paul Revere Memorial Association was formed. The house was restored to its 17th-century exterior appearance and opened as a museum in 1908. As this trend of property owners moving out of the neighborhood continued, the character of the area changed. It became more run-down and was home to boarders and renters who came and went frequently.

But he did stop at numerous houses on the way to Lexington, and patriot soldiers sprang to life. After narrowly avoiding capture just outside of Charlestown, Revere changed his planned route and rode through Medford, where he alarmed Isaac Hall, the captain of the local militia, informing him of the British movements. Revere then stopped by his own house to pick up his boots and overcoat, and proceeded the short distance to Boston’s North End waterfront. Slipping past the British warship HMS Somerset in the darkness, Revere landed safely.

Telling the Full Story

No trip to Boston would be complete without visiting the home of the famous patriot, craftsman, businessman and entrepreneur Paul Revere. In the new education and visitor center, enjoy displays of silver and evocative artifacts related to Revere’s many business ventures, and learn the real story of his midnight ride presented in his own words. View the Paul Revere House event schedule and plan a trip to experience special living history programs in the site's courtyard and period gardens. After Revere sold the house, it became a tenement with its ground floor remodeled for use as shops, including at various times a candy store, cigar factory, bank and vegetable and fruit business. In 1902, Revere's great-grandson, John P. Reynolds Jr. purchased the building to prevent demolition, and restoration took place under the guidance of architect and historic preservationist Joseph Everett Chandler.

It was thought they would then continue on to the town of Concord, to capture or destroy military stores — gunpowder, ammunition, and several cannon — that had been stockpiled there. In fact, the British troops had no orders to arrest anyone — Dr. Warren’s intelligence on this point was faulty — but they were very much on a major mission out of Boston. The Paul Revere House provides various programming, such as field trips, school outreach programs, lectures, tours, and more. The adjacent Pierce/Hichborn House, once owned by boatbuilder Nathaniel Hichborn, Paul Revere’s first cousin, is open for guided tours. In April 1908, the house was opened to the public, and the association continues to oversee its upkeep and day-to-day operations. The restored dwelling resembles the late 17th-century original—nearly 90 percent of the structure, including two doors, three window frames, and portions of the flooring, foundation, inner wall material, and rafters, are original.

The second series of excavations took place in the basement of 5-6 Lathrop Place, which used to be the backyard of the Revere family. These were conducted in response to a plan to rehabilitate the building for use as a visitor center. Phase I occurred in 2010 and located intact 18th-century deposits, prompting a second phase of investigation. They found that the construction of Lathrop Place capped deposits ranging in date from the 17th through 19th centuries. According to Warren, these troops planned to arrest Samuel Adams and John Hancock, two leaders of the Sons of Liberty, who were staying at a house in Lexington.

The simple Craftsman style house at 1271 West 35th Street helps tell the important story of architect Paul Revere Williams and should be preserved so that we tell his full story and understand the challenges he overcame. Two years later, the house was purchased by preservation-minded owners who plan to fully rehabilitate the residence and honor the Williams family legacy. Through the Conservancy’s direct advocacy, the house is now a designated Historic-Cultural Monument (HCM), which acknowledges Williams’ time here and offers protection.

Historic Charm Meets Bespoke Modern Design in This $5.6 Million English Country Manor

His portrait was made a part of the National Portrait Gallery’s collection during the late 1940s, while he was named L.A. Two years later, Williams’s Lilien Residence was featured in the pages of Architectural Digest. And hopefully, thanks to USC and the Getty Research Institute’s efforts, the publication of his historic works is only set to continue. Williams and his family lived in the now-landmarked Jefferson Park home for three decades. In 1951, 14 years after he penned “I Am a Negro,” Williams and his family moved from West 35th Street to a home of his own design in a L.A.

During a declared local or national health crisis, we follow all applicable CDC and local guidance related to social distancing, building capacity restriction, masking, and cleaning when required. This may include requiring or encouraging the use of masks particularly since our spaces are small and may be crowded; adhering to capacity restrictions that may increase wait times, and providing hand sanitizer stations. Williams not only became an architect, but a strikingly prolific one at that. After opening his own firm in 1922, he went on to create more than 3,000 designs over the course of a career that lasted a little over half a century.

Political rallies, debates, concerts, and natruralization ceremonies are just some of the events which regularly take place here. Before he died, Barron Hilton pledged 97 percent of his considerable wealth—estimated at $4.5 billion—to the Hilton family foundation and earmarked it for humanitarian work. Perhaps the most impressive of the home’s 32 rooms is also one of its smallest. The 200-square-foot, dark-wood-paneled study with its hexagonal window acted as the home office for two great business titans, CBS’s Jay Paley and Barron Hilton. “Every time I drive up to the house, it takes me right back to my childhood, the memories of Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas parties,” says 31-year-old Barron N. Hilton, whose sister is socialite Paris Hilton. Part of the home’s considerable appeal is that it was designed in 1936 by Paul Revere Williams, a pioneering Black architect who designed homes for Hollywood elite such as Frank Sinatra, Barbara Stanwyck, Lucille Ball and Tyrone Power.

On December 11, 1906, John Phillips Reynolds Jr. sold the Revere House to several trustees, who in turn on May 1, 1907, sold the house to the Paul Revere Memorial Association. On May 4, 1907 the Paul Revere Memorial Association was officially incorporated as a non-profit association dedicated to the preservation of the house and the memory of Paul Revere. Still, it wasn’t until December of 1902 that Revere descendant John Phillips Reynolds Jr. (Paul Revere’s great-grandson) purchased the property. Reynolds bought the building for $12,000 from Sidney Squires, delaying plans to tear it down and replace it with a tenement apartment. The Paul Revere Memorial Association was founded to restore and operate the Paul Revere House. The house, sold by Paul Revere in 1800, served as a boarding house, shops and businesses, and tenement apartments for the following century.

Discover the Art of Origami: Learn, Fold, Create!

There are a few diagrams, but these are included as an excercise to reinforce the discussed techniques. Looking to venture into the exciting world of paper folding but have no idea where to start? With comprehensive instructions, this guide covers all the essential folds and bases that serve as the foundation for most origami models. Dating back to the early 17th century, the Japanese practice of origami has influenced the way design projects are conceived and constructed. These origami instructions and diagrams were written to be as easy to follow as possible. I recommend using origami paper if you want them to turn out nice, but regular paper will do fine for simple diagrams.

Horizontal Scrolling

Yasui Hideo Atelier combines the aesthetics of traditional Japanese origami with more modern trends to create this stunning museum. The building’s sharp triangular forms mirror the surrounding hilly landscape. Shaped like an ark, this origami-inspired retail showroom allows passersby to peek inside. Protruding, angular windows appear to burst out of the building.

Petal Fold

Step 12) Bring the top right flap of paper up and towards the middle. Step 10) Fold the top left part of the paper to the center along the dotted line. Step 8) Fold the bottom left part of the paper to the center along the dotted line.

Inside Reverse Fold

This creative bow tie is made from carefully and artfully folded paper. Made of steel plates painted white, this Venezuelan supermarket is clearly influenced by Japanese origami. The space gradually opens up to customers as they walk inside and start shopping. The digital model of this Australian home was designed using origami techniques.

You will use this crease as a guideline in later steps. After all, once you’ve produced a material – a rod of iron, a sheet of paper – it’s typically difficult to adjust its mechanical properties. But if your material is organized in a particular folding pattern, it could potentially be reconfigured at a moment’s notice. Martin Wall designs origami by looking at the subject and thinking of ways to make it. He tries to break down a subject into a square – at the very least, into simpler forms.

Otherwise, anyone can do origami – even blind people have been known to fold origami. The origami instructions at Origami Guide are presented in an easy to follow photo tutorial format. Instructions for the best origami models can only be found in books. If you’re still looking for more awesome things to fold, check out our list of best origami books. Step 2) Crease this fold very well and then unfold it. This is a slightly less common variation of the Petal Fold. Notice how it’s kind of like a pleat made on the outside of both sides of the paper.

Step 2) There are four flaps of paper on this base. This will be where you will make the Outside Reverse Fold. Your fold doesn’t have to line up exactly where the line is, so don’t worry about making it completely perfect. Step 1) Start with a square of paper, white side up, and fold it in half diagonally.

These projects cater to origami enthusiasts of all levels, providing an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Our clear instructions guide you through each fold, helping you create festive paper creations. In the origami world, there is a process called “Doodling”. Doodling is an unconscience process where a piece of paper is folded with no particular result or target in mind. Because there is no particular goal, the conscience mind relaxes and the unconscience mind dominates.

Step 7) Push in the sides and fold the paper in half horizontally, following the creases you already made. This is the most challenging fold in this guide. You won’t see this fold in any beginner-level models anyway. Step 5) Lift the top flap of paper up along the dotted horizontal line, opening it up. There is no pre-existing crease along this line, so you’ll have to make it yourself as you fold the flap up. This is where you’re going to make the inside reverse fold.

Chatbot Design: A Strategic Guide to Process & Tools2024

chatbot design

Design is critical for the chatbot as it will determine whether people will connect with it or not. For best results, you must ensure that your chatbot design is user-centric. Chatbot design requires a combination of technical and creative skills. It's not enough to simply learn how to build a bot using a chatbot builder.

Choose the right type of chatbots

Employ chatbots not just because you can, but because you’re confident a chatbot will provide the best possible user experience. Moreover, introducing variety in the chatbot's responses to misunderstandings can mimic the dynamics of a human conversation, making the interaction feel more natural and less repetitive. Despite advancements in chatbot technologies, misunderstandings and errors are inevitable. Therefore, it is crucial to design chatbots that can handle these situations gracefully. Creating a chatbot that can offer clarifications, suggestions, or the option to restart the conversation can significantly improve the user experience during misunderstandings. Transparency is key in building trust and setting realistic expectations with users.

Why is UI important?

Wysa also offers other features such as a mood tracker and relaxation exercises. Kuki’s creator, Steve Worswick says that there are three types of people chatting with the bot. The second group of users pretends that they are chatting with an actual person and try to carry out a regular conversation. The last type tries to “test” the chatbot UI and its AI engine. In most cases, you can collect customer feedback automatically. Here is an example of a chatbot UI that lets you trigger a customer satisfaction survey in the regular conversation panel.

What kind of Experience do you want to share?

Your chatbot needs to have very well-planned content for attracting and keeping customer attention. And to create a better user experience, you need to create engaging content that is useful and reliable. For that, you need to adopt some practices while planning your content.

Advanced natural language processing (NLP) capabilities

With NLP-based bots, you can also enhance the conversational experience. After spending months building a messaging platform, interacting with chatbots and designing chatbots here are my learnings in form of a quick step by step guide to chatbot design. Watsonx Assistant automates repetitive tasks and uses machine learning to resolve customer support issues quickly and efficiently. Designing a chatbot in 2024 requires a thoughtful blend of technological savvy, user-centric design principles, and strategic planning. By following the tips and best practices outlined in this guide, you can create a chatbot that not only meets but exceeds user expectations, driving enhanced customer satisfaction and engagement.

This chatbot template offers your visitors to spin a wheel to get a prize. They will always get the “15% off” but it’s more engaging to play the lottery than to just get the discount in a message. This chatbot template also adds an interactive touch for people to click through the recommended products on the chat. Visitors can scroll through the short list of hand-picked products which can help with the shopping experience on your ecommerce. This can easily increase your sales, as about 49% of customers purchase a product they don’t initially intend to buy after receiving a personalized recommendation from a brand. You can pick your top-selling products from each site and put them straight in front of visitors’ eyes when they visit a specific page.

chatbot design

Personalization also means being available on the customer’s preferred channels. When customers get to choose the platform they feel most comfortable and convenient. Text, images, and videos are the primary element of a chatbot, but the visual design elements of the chatbot play a crucial role too. Since the chatbot is a representation of your company, your visual element should fit perfectly with the rest of your branding. Below are a few additional strategies for refining conversation flows, optimizing NLP models, and enhancing user experiences. Deploy, monitor, and scale the chatbot while providing support and training to users.

Shape your chatbot’s functions based on what your target audience needs — without diverting their attention to other topics or complicating the bot’s responses. “The chatbots I’ve seen perform well are usually focused on one area of knowledge or questions – for example, filing taxes,” Phillips said. For example, the majority of chatbots offer support and troubleshoot frequently asked questions. But this doesn’t mean your company needs a traditional support bot.

Steps to Setup ChatBot Application:

We found multiple options for creating our flows that successfully delivered on our initial ideas. For creating a chatbot, most companies use a word doc, excel, or a simple diagram. These tools can get the work done, but merely getting the job done is not enough in this era of high productivity. When you provide your chatbot with multilingual capabilities, it opens you to a large audience.

Crafting your chatbot's identity to mirror your brand's essence boosts engagement and fosters a deeper connection with users. It goes beyond mere dialogue, focusing on the style and approach of interaction. Designing a chatbot requires thoughtful consideration and strategic planning to ensure it meets the intended goals and delivers a seamless user experience. It's all about using the right tech to build chatbots and striking a balance between free-form conversations and structured ones. One possible solution is to set a delay to your chatbot’s responses. “The chatbot could wait maybe two or three seconds and group whatever the user said together,” Phillips said.

It's important to clearly disclose that users are interacting with a chatbot right from the start. This honesty helps manage users' expectations regarding the type of support and responses they can anticipate. Acknowledging the chatbot's automated nature reassures users that while their interactions may not be with a human, the designed system is capable and efficient in addressing their needs.
